Safety centre

Dating should feel safe before it feels exciting. These are the protections built into the platform, and the habits we ask every member to keep.

How we protect members

Email verification for everyone

A confirmed email address is required before a profile can appear in discovery.

Human photo moderation

Every uploaded photo is reviewed before it becomes visible to other members. Photos that break our standards are rejected with a reason.

Optional photo and identity verification

Members can request verification badges for extra assurance. Verification documents are never shown to other members.

Private photo storage

Photos are stored privately and served through short-lived links, so images cannot be shared or hotlinked publicly.

Granular privacy controls

Choose whether your occupation, education and online status are visible, and pause your profile whenever you need a break.

Blocking and reporting

Block instantly from any profile or conversation. Reports go straight to our moderation queue with the full context attached.

Staying safe while you date

  • Keep conversations on the platform until you are confident about who you are speaking with.
  • Never send money, gift cards or financial details to anyone you have met online.
  • Be cautious with anyone who avoids video calls or rushes emotional commitment.
  • Meet first in a public place and tell someone you trust where you are going.
  • Report any profile that pressures, threatens or attempts to defraud you.
